At Unleashd Technologies Ltd. (“Unleashd”), we know you care about how your personal information and customer data are used and shared. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to providing you with superior service while protecting your privacy and safeguarding your data.
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) applies to, and explains how we collect, store, and utilize, your information when you use all websites, technology, products, and services built and maintained by Unleashd (collectively the “Products and Services”).
By using our Products and Services, you agree to this Policy and the subsequent usage of personal data as stated herein and amended from time to time.
Most of the data we collect comes directly from you when you complete an online form, create an account, purchase a product or service, provide feedback, or submit an inquiry via email. This data may include:
- Contact Information. When you make an inquiry or purchase with us, we ask for identifying information such as your name, email address, mailing address and phone number;
- Payment and Billing Information. When you pay for an Unleashd service, you may provide your credit card number and billing address. We do not store your credit card number or security code. We only keep a record of the payment transaction, including the last four (4) digits of the credit card number. All other sensitive billing information is passed securely to our payments processor;
- Business Information. When you use our Products and Services, you will provide information regarding your business, including customers, employees, commissions, financial data, inventory, customer service, sales and marketing data;
- Account Log-In Credentials. When you create an account for the use of our services, you will provide log-in information, including usernames and passwords;
- DMS and CRM Data. The CRM software collects and provides important customer service, sales and marketing data, and the DMS also collects internal information, including your financial data, inventory, customer service, employee, commissions, sales and marketing information; and
- Third Party Accounts. If you choose to link our services to a third-party account, we will receive information about that account, such as your authentication token from the third-party account in order to authorize linking. If you wish to limit the information available to us, you should visit the privacy settings of your third-party accounts to learn about your options. You can always unlink a service from a third party account, or send us a request to do it for you.
When you use our Products and Services, certain information may be collected automatically from your web browser or mobile device via your browser’s cookies. Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your computer or mobile device by your web browser. This data does not typically include personally identifying information, and includes your website interactions such as your IP address, your location, web browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, website navigation and web pages visited. Personal data may also be collected and/or aggregated through the use of automated means.
Unleashd collects your data so that we can:
- Determine your eligibility for products and services;
- Process your requests and provide related information, products or services;
- Understand your business needs and offer services to meet those needs;
- Process billing, payments and otherwise provide accounting services;
- Address complaints;
- Comply with legal, regulatory and audit requirements;
- Verify the accuracy of personal data with credit report agencies, credit bureaus, or any other necessary personal or organization; and
- Conduct research and development programs to improve user experiences across our digital spectrum, for the overall improvement of our Products and Services, and the research and development of new Products and Services.
Sharing Your Data and Information
Service Providers and Sub-processors. We will never sell your data to a third-party. From time to time, we may need to share information with third-party service providers and sub-processors that provide services on our behalf when you use our Products and Services. They may have access to your personal data only to perform their tasks on our behalf, and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. While we do not disclose the full list of vendors online, the sub-processors fall into the following categories:
- Server hosting providers;
- Email marketing service;
- Email/SMS/voice deployment service;
- Customer support software;
- Application analytics software;
- Subscription management software;
- Webpage editing software;
- Accounting software (if applicable);
- Legal and Accounting firms; and
- Payment processing providers (if applicable).
Business Transfers. Your information and data may be disclosed and otherwise transferred to any potential acquirer, successor, or assignee as part of any proposed merger, acquisition, debt financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction, or in the event of insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership in which information is transferred to one or more third parties as one of our business assets. We will provide notice before your data is transferred and/or becomes subject to a different privacy policy, at which time you will have the opportunity to withdraw your information.
Required by Law and Similar Disclosures. Under certain circumstances, we may be required to provide personal data to third parties for legal or regulatory purposes.
- To satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
- To enforce this Policy, including investigation of potential violations hereof;
- To detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues; including the exchange of information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and spam/malware prevention;
- To respond to your requests; or
- To protect our rights, property or safety, our users, and the public.
With Your Consent. We may share information with your written consent.
We have appropriate technical and organizational security measures in place, which are designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. Unleashd uses cloud servers for data storage and hosting. We also ensure that encryption methods are used to protect the data, both in transit and at rest. Only authorized employees have access to your data, and our physical buildings require key-card entry.
Unleashd will retain your data only for as long as we have an ongoing legitimate business or legal need to do so for the purposes set out in this Policy. We will retain and use your data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax, or accounting requirements).
If and when we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information and customer data, we will either delete or anonymize it in accordance with any applicable terms in our services agreement with you, and as required by applicable law.
Unleashd will also retain usage data for internal analysis purposes. Usage data is generally retained for a longer period of time, especially when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Products and Services, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for an extended period.
Your data is processed at Unleashd’s operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in processing are located. It means that your information may be transferred, processed, and/or stored outside of Canada .
Your consent to this Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
Unleashed will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy and applicable law. No transfer of your data will take place to an organization or country unless there are adequate security controls in place.
From time to time, Unleashd might send you information about products or services that we think you might like. If you have agreed to receive these types of communications, you may opt-out at any time.
You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please contact us. You have the right to obtain a copy of the data we have collected about you or your customers under certain conditions. The information may also be updated and corrected for accuracy and completeness upon request.
Please contact us if you would like to exercise any of your rights, or if any of your customers wish to do so. Since we do not directly communicate with your customers, you will need to communicate such requests to us and we will respond to your inquiry within 30 days. Our Products and Services may contain links to other websites that we don’t operate. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for their content, privacy policies or practices, so please review the privacy policy of every website you visit.
Our Products and Services are not directed to children under the age of 18. If we discover that we have collected personal data from anyone under the age of 18 without a parent’s consent, we will take steps to delete that information from our system. Please contact us if you are a parent or guardian and are aware that your child has provided us with personal data. We may change or update this Policy from time to time without any prior notice by posting a new version on our website. Please check this page occasionally for updates.
